What Is the League of Superheroes?
Hey there. I’m Johnny Levy—author of The Superpower Quest, founder of the League of Superheroes, and a proud, incurable Super-Connector.
The League of Superheroes is an invitation-only network of Superpowered professionals whose job and calling are one.
These are not just experts, they are people working in their zone of genius, or Superpower, where talent, passion, and purpose align. When someone operates at this level, their work feels effortless, effective, and joyful.
I've learned to Join Forces with Superheroes wherever possible in all areas of need. I’ve also learned that connecting Superheroes with Superheroes is my best channel for creating explosive progress in the lives of my people.
Why I Started the League
I get asked all the time—“Johnny, do you know a great ____?”
It might be a PPC expert, a grant writer, or a cold outreach strategist. And the truth is, I only want to connect people when it’s going to be the right fit. That’s why I wrote The Four Types of Connection—to help people understand the difference between noise and momentum.
The League is about momentum. It’s where Friends of Excellence come together—people who aren’t just skilled, but aligned with a deeper sense of mission.
This whole movement is inspired by the spirit of The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann. If you’ve never read it, it beautifully illustrates why generosity and authentic connection are the ultimate business strategy.
That’s why we live by the code.
The Code: DJENG
DJENG is an acronym I created to capture the five non-negotiable traits required for someone to be nominated into the League of Superheroes.
Here’s what it stands for:
Dependability — They do what they say they’re going to do, even if it means unexpected sacrifice.
Joy — They love their work. It’s a privilege, not a burden.
Experience — They’ve put in the reps for true mastery.
Niche — They offer a specific, recognizable service.
Generosity — They care more about helping people than nickel-and-diming to get theirs.
Fun detail: DJENG is the Wakandan word for unity (not really, but it should be). It reinforces the spirit of what we’re building: people who show up for others with clarity, mastery, joy, and a generous heart.
Friends of Excellence
No, this is not a ploy to sell you a membership; it’s a movement. There’s no cost to join. I meet people, discover their gifts, and help connect them when I can.
And yes, when a connection leads to something substantial, friends sometimes offer a commission. But there’s never entitlement on my end. It all happens in the spirit of friendship, among people who care more about making an impact than about nickel-and-diming. That’s who I am, and that’s the kind of people I roll with.
